Sydney Marathon
The Sydney Running Festival on 17 September 2023 is an annual running and walking event with a range of distances to suit everyone, all of which run over the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Formally named the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival, the Sydney Marathon event boasts four unforgettable courses, across four distances: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and the Family 3.5km Fun Run.
The Marathon will feature a fresh course that flows better with more roadways and less 180 degree bends for a more enjoyable marathon experience and an extended race cut off time of 7 hours to support first time and casual marathon runners. The marathon is a candidate race for the Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM).
The event includes the inaugural Australian Age Group Marathon Championships, the Australian Clubs Marathon Championships and the Australian Open Marathon Championships.
